Hi! This is shingo and kazuki in Mr.knapp's class, and we are goinig to introduce a video from CBS News about hybrid cars surge in sales.
Summary of Main Points
By a jump in gasoline price, hybrid cars sell well. People want to save money, so they are turning to hybrid car. From 2000 to 2007, hybrid car sales increased to about 33 thousand. On the other hand, American major car companies, General motors, Ford and Chrysler were on the decrease in sales.
Why interested
We were interested in this topic because We didn't think Japanese car (TOYOTA Prius) is familiar to Amerian people. Cause we want everyone to know this situation, we chosed this video.

No, I do not.
Recently, I hear that squid's fishery was discontinued on the news. Because fisherman cannot catch many squid, and squid is cheap. So the profit is a little.

I think it is not bad. Now maintenance of car cost much money by jump in gasoline price. Demand of car may will decrease. So, American major car companies decrease sales is necessary.

Yes, I think so. because gasolline price rised in this Year's May, and in June, gasoline price was more higher. Moreover I hear that gasoline price will be more higher in July. So, I think jump in gasoline price continue.
