By a jump in gasoline price, hybrid cars sell well. People want to save money, so they are turning to hybrid car. From 2000 to 2007, hybrid car sales increased to about 33 thousand. On the other hand, American major car companies, General motors, Ford and Chrysler were on the decrease in sales.

Famous Bear Kills Trainer

Hi everyone.
This is Keiko and Tomomi from Mr. Pals class.

Summary:
An animal trainer was killed by a greasy bear which is famous and have appeared on a　Movie. It was happened in the wild animal traning facility, “RANDY MILLER’s PREDATORS IN ACTION” where is in east Los Angeles, California. The trainer was bited his neck and jugular and died before coming the ambulance.

Interests:
I think it is sad story. I don't know why the bear killed his trainer though they had a good relation till then. In my opinion, I think the bear just acted on instinct. The human being is a kind of animals, but there is the difference that wheter to be able to control their feelings. Therefore, the bear coudn't that, and killed the trainer. Acording to the idea, also I can say that the discriminate killers are colser to the animals than humans.

Summary:
This news is about position of child seat. Most people palce it left or right side of back seat in their car, but those position is dangerous. The safest position is the center of back seat.

Interest:
In Japan, we have been obliged to strap ourselves in even if we sit on the back seat since June 1st, so many of us wonder it. Seat belt is important for us to protect ourselves , but we should also think about child seat. Japanese government should prescribe some law for the safest position of child seat.

In Myanmar, many people need a help because of the damage by cyclone. American goverment sent aid workers to Myanmar, and donated more than 1000 supplying cases to help the victims. Especially, the mobile teams of medicine play a important role in the devastated area.

Interest:
They provide food, medicine, doctors and nourse because people can't go to hospital. There are some medical service that people can see doctor. Although these helps, there are little aids in Myanmar. Summary of story:
This news story is about how Japanese men express their love for their wives.

Interest:
I saw this news story a couple of months ago, but I thought it was interesting for a couple of reasons. First, I rarely see Japanese men express their love for their family. In addition, this story was blocked by SKY PerfecTV. SKY PerfecTV sometimes blocks news stories when they contain difficult to see images like ones from the recent earthquake in China. However, I couldn't understand why they would block this story.
